Thinking about shorting my exhaust

Not planning on doing it for the louder sound, i just think it looks better. what do you guys think? and a how to would be legit.

There's a sticky for it. And I'm a fan of the shorter exhaust, as long as it's not obnoxiously loud.

I shortened my Akrapovic about 4". It looks a million times better, without sounding drastically different. I would do it again without a doubt

i love the tiny GP style and im just worried about making it too loud cause its already loud enough.

Go shorty, you'll never go back.

Looks great and sounds great (even though you aren't worrying about the sound).

Check the sticky. I did it and posted before and after pictures in the sticky thread.

I am worried about the sound, I love the look if that was the only deciding factor it would have already been done. My problem is my bike is loud as hell already, i go to work at 4:30 in the morning and its not uncommon to wake my neighbors.(they complain every time they see me)

Full open throttle will be louder, but idle sound will be just a tad bit louder, probably not much to even notice. At least that's how mine was.

I know when I shortened my Two-Bros; it didn't effect the dB's too much, if any. But I think it looks a whole lot better shortened.
