I just got this bike that had 900 original miles on it. Did full tune up but there seems to be what sounds like a valve tap at 5500-7000. It gets better as the bike warms up but what could it be? The valve cant need adjustment with this little miles could they? Maybe fuel treatment to burn off some crap??? Any thoughts?
Thx!

Sounds like it's your Cam Chain Tensioner. It's a very common problem with these bikes. Take a read of this thread and it should answer all the questions you have
