they are the same, with some differences lol
i have it on my bike
with the 05+ swingarm u have to make bushings for the chain adjusters, or get customs blocks made, which is what i did BUT you dont have to flip the top shock mount around
03-04 you use your stock adjusters and switch them over but u have to flip the top shock mount for clearance
youll need
longer chain and brake line
the caliper mount for that year swingarm-they r different, but your f4i caliper will work just fine and youll need a bushing for that mount to make it fit the f4i axle
you need the 600rr shock linkage and a 1000rr rear shock
you need a couple other misc things too, if you REALLY want it all in a kit shoot me a pm and ill see if i can hook u up

it feels much different, just depends on what you like tho. for wheelies-it cuts it down, u can still do them but not super easy like with the stock arm, corner-wise, by myself riding theres not really a difference that i can tell but with my wife on the back, its amazing. maybe im just crazy but my bike is actually more flickable with her on there too
its maybe 1.5 in more at most, which isnt alot. just depends on your style if youll like it or not, but man, i see you want an undertail and the rr arm, u might consider just getting an rr before you go to modding your bike. just to save yourself some headaches
really the only place i notice the difference in handling is when my wife rides with me, im extremely critical with the bike tho too. if you arent so much, you prolly wont ever notice a difference

I just picked up my conversion parts.
got the swingarm, suspension, caliper, bracket, brake line, chain adjusters, and rear wheel for under 100 bucks while shopping around online...
so... modding crap for me.. should be bolt on... going to keep the stock 43t rear sprocket on for now until I get a whole 520 conversion...
sooo my bike is gna be sluggish for a bit but oh well
sooo guess i should add I have my carbontech tire hugger for sale when im done :P
