Super bright DRL/LED turn signals.. (PICS)

Hey fellas, thought I'd share some pics of some LED/DRL (Day Time Running lights )flush-mount turn signals I slapped on yesterday.

I love the way they look, and I feel so much more visible at night and during the day.:icon_bike:

I've always thought that most sportbikes look like a cage with one head-light out, coming towards you, or when you see one coming in your rear view mirror.:icon_doh:
With the DRL's, you can distinctively tell its a motorbike on the road.
Lemme know what you think.

*Sorry bout the crappy cell phone resolution*
The pics do not do the super bright LED's justice, that, and they increase light output when the motorbike is running ( Couldent turn it on since I had it in my Head-shop and I dident want to kill the customers with Carbon Monoxide...:icon_teeth:)

I like them, but I don't think people will be looking for it still. You are in Texas, so I guess you guys can ride year round. But in Chicago, you could put a huge neon flashing sign on you, and still wouldn't be seen.

Thats a given. and thats pretty much anywhere in the world for that matter, Houston Texas, Chicago Illinois, New York, whatever, you should always be 110% on alert when riding a motorbike, but little aids like lights and reflective tape make the vigil a little easier.:icon_wink:

Exactly. I've got my rim tape, brighter lights all around, and reflective jacket.

I have those same exact flush mounts. They're not that great, mostly eye candy. Now if you had the ones with the 1 watt LEDs or higher, now that will stand out. Unfortunately most the aftermarket ones that are 1 watter or higher are a pretty penny. Might be cheaper to just remove the LEDs from an existing turn singnal and wire in the better ones. Nice job with the other visual aids though.

They're proton flush-mount LED's, but they sure do look bright with the motorbike on (Look dimmer with the motorbike off), a hellava visual up-grade from them being only on for turns to something that's always on.
That's a sure fact.

Thanks for the compliments fellas.:icon_wink:
