Default stupid me...learn from my mistake haha

so i bought a set of frame sliders and installed them. only problem was that i didnt put in all the screws back on the fairings. as i was riding i started to hit higher speeds...and guess what...my fairing RIPPED off the bike now my right side of my bike is fairingless haha ...at the time i didnt know what happend, i noticed about 10mins after...i could only imagine what other cars thought when they saw that.. so now if anyone has an '01 cbr 600 f4 right side fairing red/black scheme..please let me know haha

So when you say you didn't put all the screws back, how many is that? The previous owner of my bike lost 2-3 of the main screws on the left side. Haven't had any problems but I haven't owned it very long.

Check out ebay, there are usually plenty of fairings on there for sale.

whadaf? how did it rip off? plastic is usualy really durable and wont go ripping off normaly they will kinda bend out till you slow down... unless they were fiberglass ones then you needed to replace them anyway =] trust me i kno...

lol how did it take u 10 mins to realize ur whole fender ripped off but that sucks dude good luck fixing it though

Ummm yeah......if you're talking about the HUGE lower fairing that is right by your legs.....how did you not notice or see or even feelthe thing fly off??

I would think that the wind would catch it &it would hit your legs if it flew off, but I guess not
