I'm interested in the answer as well, not so much the mileage they last, but the mileage others have felt a change was needed. However, I believe that if you list your miles and possibly the "symptoms" that make you feel that you need a new clutch, it may help people help you.

I'm at 30k on my bike (not the original owner) but the clutch seems fine, and it's the original clutch.

Someone has slipped mine beyond recognition then. Got the bike with 9k miles on it and slips really bad going to 2nd and 3rd if you are really getting on it.

im at about 20500 but at like 19000 miles (2 weeks ago) i put my power commander, air filter, oil filter, and changed the oil on the bike. so i have started to notice when i get on it to bring the front end up the clutch is starting to slip, not real bad but enough not to bring it up. so i know if its doing it in first i know its going to be doing it if im doing full pulls through all the gears like doing 140+ because there is more of a load on the clutch. plus before the end of the season for 1/4 mile racing i want to put a small shot on the bike and i know if i do that i really need to change the clutch.

yep, just answered your own question. abuse the clutch and prepare to fork out the $$$.

but no seriously, 160,000.
