A 520 chain is going to be cheaper and lighter, but not last quite as long compared to a 525. I've heard good things about RK chains.

RK is what my bike came with stock, and it is a 525 chain.

You need to get a kit that comes with BOTH sprockets and a chain. If you're not tryin to gain tenths of a second on your track time, then you want to stick with the 525. Along with being lighter and smaller the 520 chain is also weaker than the 525 (and 530). It's a simple swap, don't pay to have it done.

Get a 520 if your buying sprockets too. Yes it isen't as strong as a 525 but that dosen't mean anything. With that logic you should get a 530, but its not needed. A 525 isen't needed either. Along with the less weight a 520 series is also much easier to find replacment parts for and is usually cheaper then a compareable 525. Just make sure you buy a good brand [DID/RK both came stock on F4i's and are great chains] and if your truely worried about the strength the get the high end like my rk GXW series. Its a higher tensile strength then the normal series from RK and easly holds any power your bike will ever put out. My last one made it 20,000 miles, thats more then my stock DID 525 made it.
