Steel Wool in the Gas Tank
 

Hey All,

I searched 'steel wool' back to 2007 but didn't find anything.

Can someone please explain the purpose of the steel wool around the base of the in-tank fuel pump?

Does someone have a description or picture of how it's supposed to be installed?
