Default Stator Cover- cover

I have an NRC cover on and it's served me well, highly recommended. It's now become someowhat an eyesore now that I've decided to turn my attention to aesthestics a bit on the bike. Basically it's done it's job and has taken a beating. It has at least 1 more lowside life left in her, but before it get's tossed I'd like to cover up the battle scars. Anyone have any ideas of what I could use?....other than replacement.

You get CF sleeves or whatever to cover those...
+1 on the NRC's hardiness :P

Where would I find such a sleeve? Do you have any idea on the survivability of the NRC?

I had a 3mph lowside in dirt when I first got my bike, just scratched the cover. I pulled it off, sanded it down and painted it satin black, looks good. Im going to brush paint the honda in the cover red to make it stand out a little more. Might as well try it on your cover, only cost a can of spray paint

It's a thought, but the NRC cover has a texture to it. Sanding it down would take some time and reduce it's survivability a little. Better if I could put something over the scratched portion.
