So I just got my bike in February and the only thing I had ever ridden befor was a little 125 dirt bike. So the first time I got on my bike I took it up to 55 and I have to admit, I was a little shakey, overwelmed by the power. So now here it is May and I hae definitly noticed I have started to get more "*****". I have a cage on my bike and now I can lean the bike into a turn so far that my cage will scrape on the road! Crazy!!!!. I have now done some stoppies, and some pretty good ones too, but my bike flip over foward as I was doing one a couple days ago and broke my brand new wind screen and one of the mirros. Luckly my cage stopped a couple of other things from getting messed up. I can also do power up wheelies and today I did my first couple of clutch wheelies in 1st gear. I can get the front wheel of the ground every time but I'm not that great on ridding them. So that is my next thing to work on, and do stand-ups in 2nd gear. Oh yeah!.... I can also stand on my bike. I have don it in a number places, the pegs, the cage and on the seat. I have lots of fun and will continue to work for better proggress. Who know's maybe on day some long endos, or some high chairs. P.S. I always wear my helmet when attepting to do these stunts.

When you trash your bike just remember NOT to call your insurance company. No one needs there rates going up because someone else used there bike for the non intended use

 

I can't see myself doing that to a $6000 bike. Too much money and time invested into it to see it get screwed up like that. To each their own though.

Live and let live. I'll admit that stunting is not my thing but some people will look at me weird for taking my bike on the track. As long as he's doing it in a place where he's not endangering the general public, what is it to the rest of you. Its his money.

 

It IS a track bike -- who in their right mind would look at you weird for taking a track bike on a track? Must be them darned Hardley riders

I'm with ya though -- some of those stuntas can do some crazy things that I never would have believed. It ain't for my bike but it is cool.

???? What a dush!......... Use and abuse your bike if you can afford it, and if you can get away with it and its in your favor, use the insurance option in worst case scenario. Just remember if you ever do drop it, knock on wood, ITS A TOY! so use it and have fun, be safe always, but that goes without saying. If you want to take your bike on another level, take it to the track, dont ever hang out with the dushbags who bought their bikes as if they were 4 door sedans, who buy FJR's and talk about how fast they are, that is a definition of a dush bag. Have fun, keep pushing it, but always stay safe, thats all that matters.
