Starter/BAS fuse keeps blowing
Last weekend, my bike wouldn't start. It ended up being because the starter/BAS fuse had blown. I replaced it and rode away just fine. Yesterday, while on my way home, the same fuse blew again. I replaced it again, and the it blew again before I made it home. I ended up using the fuse from my clock to get me home.
Any ideas as what could be causing it to keep blowing like that? |
was it when you were trying to start the bike or just while you were riding?

Each time, the bike was on and I was in the stopped position and it blew as I tried to take off.

obviously check the connection on the BAS. it could have a loose connection that is causing it to short out when you take off. I had something like that on a headlight wire. If i turned left it would short out the wire because it got a little stretched.

BAS wires look fine. There's a relay that looks like it's for the headlight that's a little bent. I don't know if that could be adding to it. Also my turn signals are not working and blowing fuses (aftermarket) and my high beemer doesn't work

there's a loose connection somewhere and you have to find it. it's hard to check everything but there's not much else you can do. try taping right where the wire connects to the connector and hopefully it will help as well
