What's been your experience with battery life? Don't see anywhere in the Spy 5000m's info of it having a battery backup.

That'll mean its constantly drawing on the battery.

Havnt really had a chance to find out yet. I parked the bike back in Nov and left the battery in it. I did not charge it before parking it. I have not touched the bike until I installed the alarm couple weeks ago. I went back to the bike a week later and it still started no problem so thats the ebst info I have to answer your question. Once I pull the bike out of storage Ill be able to give you a better answer. The bike sits about 5 hours away from me though so its hard to get to it to work on it and do tests.

Hmm... right now I'm thinking about changing alarms. My Cyclone 866f is pretty good but the paging system would be nice. I won't bother with the remote start feature tho.

Yes the paging alarm system is the reason I bought this. The remote start is just a bonus that Im trying to figure out. More a flashy toy than anything. This past weekend I pulled the battery out of the bike and charged it. It is now at the gf's house staying warm to prevent damage to it. It'll be a while but once I get the bike up and running again for the spring ill be sure to post up any info that I can.
