SPROCKETS, SWINGARMS.. when is it too much?
So I am beginning my search for a CBR 600f4 and am noticing that several that are "possibles" and many more have mods like "-2 on the front sprocket" or the owners have extended the swingarms.
From what I have read...-1 on the front is sufficient..so why -2 ?like super-wheelie machine with no top end?
how bad does that mod effect the top end and general ride-ablilty?
can ya start from a stop light in 2nd with that mod ?!? lol
and the extended swingarm...seems a good drag racing mod but how about its effect on handling in the twisties?
would you buy a bike with these mods?
I know i could put it back to stock but thwe swingarm mod would be a bit more work and expense to do that..the sprocket mod..not so much of either.
Thanks

A basically "stock" is what 'I believe I desire...OF course not modifying somethinig is impossible but basically....
And yeah, -2 seemed a bit excessive...a change of 2 either way in the rear wouldnt be so huge a difference but the front...thats like 20%.
And I believe the turning is why I am buying a 600...If I wanted to race I'd get a 1300.
