Hey all!

Well am about to replace my long over due chain, and my friend was telling me I should go with a +1/-2 sprocket conversion.

I do want the increased acceleration, but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on brands, where to buy the sprockets for the best price. And if/or a +1/-2 (15 front /47 Rear) conversion is a good set up for the 06 F4i

I think you have that backwards. For better acceleration you'd want a -1/+2. Think of how the gearing works on a bicycle.

-1/+2 for acceleration, lower top speeds and higher rpm at cruise in 6th gear
stock still has good acceleration but higher top speed and lower rpm at 6th gear cruise

 

cool yea I got it backwards *slaps forehead* I think i found a set I like... I am pretty convinced that I this is something I want for my bike
