Hey guys,
I need a new chain for my 01 600 F4i because it's practically dragging on the ground! I already tightened it to the max and it didn't help much. I'm afraid to ride it because the chain is going to snap. I've heard it's a good idea to get sprockets with a new chain so I figured I'd upgrade a little and change the gear ratio on it. I want it to be a little quicker off the start and be able to lift the front tire easier, but I don't know if i'm supposed to go more teeth on the front, less in the rear, or less on the front, more on the rear. Right now I have a 14 front sprocket and a 46 rear. I've heard that stock for my bike is a 16 front and a 46 rear. Any ideas what stock is for my bike and what I should upgrade to?
