from a utility standpoint... there is no point. but from a personal standpoint... i like the open sprocket look but i didnt want to ditch the entire cover, so that was the point.

GP Shift refers to changing the shift pattern from stock (1 down 6 up) to 1st up 6 down.

What do you do with the vent/overflow tubes?? do you ride with them like they are in the photo or did you just move them to see the mod better?

no, i just temporarily zip-tied them to the frame while i was doing work to the bike. once i put the fairings back on, the tubes will be back in the stock location...

Very intriguing, not too sure the function, if it looks cool and you like it, but my question is, have you considered what if you get some debris in it from riding. Won't that damage your spocket? I think the engineers who designed the bike, put that cover on for a reason. But if you haven't had any problems more power to you.
