so i've almost got all the parts to convert my 05 f4i to the split seat, just waiting on fairing to show up. got ta looking at everything and noticed there's a bracket welded to the stock subframe that the computer mounts to (guessin thats what it is, rear left side if on the bike) but there isn't a bracket on the split seat subframe like it. Where do I mount the computer on the split seat??? do I need to fab a bracket and weld it to the subframe in order to mount it???

will all the bolts n stuff from my 05 work on the split seat? or are there different size bolts and cables that I'll need?

please help....thank you!!!

The computer is not on the sub frame, its under the seat. You're looking at the r/r on the left side rear frame.

 

actually the RR is on the right hand side on the banana seat bikes.. its in two different places F4vs F4i but its on the same side.. I believe its on the left hand side on the split seat bikes..

 

I have an 05' and I did the split seat on my bike. If you get all the plastic pieces that go in the under tail there's a nice spot that the ecu snaps in to.
