Speedo/Tach not working/ FI Sensor

Hello fellow Honda lovers I'm at a bind as there are no moto mechanics around where I live that can help me deduce the problem but perhaps someone can point me in the right direction on here.

I can't get my speedo/tach to work. It used to work every once in a while when the bike was warmed up but not anymore.

Secondly, the FI sensor red light lights up after I pass 6K rpms or about 65mph...then stays lit until the bike gets turned of.

Any help will be widely appreciated.
Thank you

Do you have a multimeter? Its going to help you diagnose your electrical system but you can start with a visual inspection of your entire wire loom see if everything is fully plugged in, if all the grounds are bolted in tight, remove any corrosion off of the grounds, if you have any fraying or shorting of wires. Make sure to be thorough here because it could be as simple as your grounds are bad. pick up some electrical cleaner and di-electric grease clean your connections and inspect the backs of them to see if wires are coming out of the pins. Then before you connect them pack them full of dielectric grease and wipe off any excess. after that if you still are having problems let me know and we can move to the multimeter.

Had a similar problem arise mine stopped working but don't know if due to wreck of rain, but I'm pretty sure mine is rain and shorted an aftermarket device that adjusts the meter due to my bigger sprocket gotta give em a call and get it replaced
