Speedo and Dog Hair

It looks like there is a dog hair inside my speedo. Would I mess anything up if I opened it to try and get it out?

Just be careful taking things apart and you should be okay. I've had a few speedo's apart from old CBR's.

3 screws in the back need to be removed. It's much easier to remove the "A" support from the frame by taking out the 2 large bolts under the ignition to get the cluster out.

Yeah, removing the outer casing of the speedo is easy and should hardly mess things up. Definitely take it off the bike, though, don't try to half-ass it while it's still semi-attached.
