Speed Sensor
 

So here's the deal. My speed sensor stopped working and ran through the checks from the service manual. You are supposed to get a 0-5v pulsing from the speed sensor connector while its plugged in, key on and spinning the back tire. Well my old one was definitely garbage because it had a couple dead spots where it wouldn't even show voltage just open. Ordered a new one from cheapcycle parts which took forever to get because it was on backorder. Just went and put it in an checked it and still have the same problem with no speed on the cluster. Checked the pulse again at the speed sensor connector and it's pulsing but only makes it up to 2.8v. Assuming this new one is garbage since it is out of spec, let me hear what you guys think...

Now I'm gonna have a pain in the butt time because cheap cycle parts doesn't want to take it back because its an electrical part... I don't think I will order anything from there again, always gonna go to the dealer.
