Hi,

I purchased a service kit for my 2002 CBR600F4i & it came with Champion Powersport spark plugs which are double copper cored.

Are these suitable to fit instead of Iridium tipped plugs that I think are the usual fitment.

As long as they are the correct type you should be fine. I did a quick search and could not find any Champions that fit but you might call a dealership and check with their service dept. Copper vs. platinum vs. iridium is not a big deal as it just means you'd need to change them out sooner but, functionally speaking, they'll be fine...

 

Cheap plugs compared to oem. I spend the money for the good stuff. You'll for sure be changing them out sooner then the 16k service length though.
