Someone Stole My Left Rearset!!
OK so I parked my bike thursday night in my apt. parking lot, with my car blocking it in. Moved the car a couple times to do stuff like go to work and what not. Go out tonight to move the bike to a better location in the parking lot, go to click out of N when I find out there's no left rearset! WHAT THE ****!?
Seriously, who steals a stock rearset? I mean I know a stunter or whatever or someone who had just crashed and needed the part, but c'mon! The funny thing is that I had broken part of the lever on that side in a fall a few months ago and was in the process of buying either vortex rearsets or a new stock rearset and riser plates (to move them up 1" and back 1"). So really it's a minor inconvenience, but still. WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT OVER???
Yeah I know the bike is filthy, I worked 58 hours last week get off my back lol

RE: Someone Stole My Left Rearset!!
thats really messed up but it happens all the time unfortunately
I was at a bike shop in Tennessee I think talking to the parts guys and they told me that just a couple weeks before they caught somebody trying to steal one of the stock rearsets off of a bike in the showroom
I mean they actually saw him removing the bolts and trying to remove the linkage
some people are just f'ed up

when i lived in memphis (last year) i got all geared up ready to ride to school where i teach. just about put my foot through the concrete. stole my shift pedal . $65 pedal with bolt, nut, shipping...$75 total. and yes, the bolt and nut were a separate charge at the dealership
