Thanks for the support Yea here in CA everyone is sue happy and all insurance companies are never willing to dish out cash. worse comes to worse i replace the fairings and get a steering damper! ... oh and a jacket too!

the frame-sliders seemed to take most of the damage. looks like not too bad fairing damage. hope everything turns out for the best.

 

Yeah, you being ok is number one, it never feels that way though. But I see you have frame sliders, how do they install? And where'd you get yours? Because looks like they took most of it, and will be a great investment.

 

I do the same thing as tyler does. I ride everywhere with my high beams and if anyone is behind me or, slowly about to turn, I weave in the lane to cause a distraction. Last thing I need is a some stupid driver slamming into me because they are texting, eating or doing something else counter productive to driving!

 

I bought the bike used and they were already on there. they totally saved the bike from getting too bad. i would also suggest putting the rear frame sliders on too (swingarm) because if my bike would have hit back end first i would be replacing rotors too. but check websites like KneeDraggers.com
