Hey guys, last winter I polished my frame and wheels and did a few other minor projects. This winter I plan on doing angel eyes and polishing the upper triple (which is going to be tough in between planning a wedding and buying a house). Anyway, the only question I have is how to remove the upper triple for polishing. Is it safe to remove it when the bike is on stands? Sorry for the noob question but this is new to me. Thanks guys!

 

you can remove the upper triple any time, there are spanner nuts underneath it to secure the yoke.
