Default Slow clunky shifs... how to fix it

For those that don't venture too far out of this section, lol.... I posted up a how-to for replacing the shift start, detent arm and spring with a Factory Pro shift star kit. It makes a very nice difference in shift feel and quality, and makes for noticeable faster shifts. I'm very happy with it! That's been my one complaint with the F4i is the really long throw in the shifter, it made it feel loose and sloppy, and really easy to have a 'missed shift'. This just kinda tightens everything up a lil bit

wowww you took the term "gearhead" to a whole new level! That was a great write-up i even thought about doing it, but i am nowhere near your mechanical inclination. Thanks for the reference though!

Nice! I was planned on doing this mod in a couple months so your write-up will be helpful.
