in my opinion they are dramatically different. f4i are much more comfortable and there is less leaning froward and the knees are not as bent (im going by my height, im 5'9). although, i did notice that on the RR i sit more toward the middle of the seat as on the f4i i usually end up with my croutch in the tank... not sure why that is, it must be love . but for every rider there is a difference in feel and opinion.

Similarities between 100RR and F4i - Made by Honda

F4i will be lower to the ground height wise, and a little more comfortble ergo.

My buddy has a 2005 1kRR and I think it feels a little smaller than my F4i. Riding both, the F4i feels lighter and somewhat less stable. The RRs have more technology and most people like the looks more than the F4i, but to me, 15 minutes on an RR is torture due to the ergos. Think about the type of riding you will do, then start bike shopping. Good luck,

Hey alekinci, the "it must be love"remark had me in stitches for about a half hour! seriously, I kinda noticed the same thing I'm a 5'9 rider as well. Great insight.

I'm 6' tall and the F4i is a much more comfortable bike for me to sit on, in city commutes, at the lights andon highwayriding. I end up with aches after less than 30mins on the RR due to its aggresive (track oriented) ride position. But then, everyone has a different feel to either bike.

I own an 01 F4i and it's very comfy even on the long halls and just commuting back and forth. My best friend has a 06 1kRR and it's just not as comfy. The ride just seems really aggressive. Not to mention it has a un-naturally low windscreen, which forces you to lay down to keep from being blown off the bike when you twist it up. Being 5'6 I just couldn't do it very day. Unless I was being paid too! My advice would be go for the F4i. Good Luck. Let us know how it works out.
