Sick windshield--what is it?
|
chopped DB yessir.
chopped with a curve in it |
i gotta have it!
whats the brand name? has anyone else done this? |
DB stands for Double Bubble
http://www.zerogravity-racing.com/pr...age.php?pn=404 That's the link to Zero Gravity, they sell these things, basically pioneered aftermarket windscreens. On the site if you click above the image on Double Bubble you'll see what you're seeing in the video. I'd recommend looking around ebay, and googling for other places that sell. Maybe get a better deal. |
i got mine on ebay..it was cheap, the plastic is thick, and it looks great. Might do some choppy choppy work on it

Keep in mind...our F4i's will not look like that by merely chopping a DB so low and with a curve...His front nose fairing is aftermarket and custom cut...look at the angle of his headlights...it slants straight and more aggresive than stock:icon_wink:
Wonder how he fabbed that? Youd have to shave the headlight housings it seems? Unleeesss...its the fairing that just overlays the stock headlight housing..I would think it would be near impossible for it not to buldge out and look like crap if that was the case though...hard to tell from the video! |

The fairing eye brow is pretty sweet, haven't seen that before.

Like I said above, I wonder how he did it?:icon_shrug: Edit: The more I look at it, it seems it is the stock headlight housing and the nose fairing overlays it...but thats one custom fitment job there (for it not to look like chit) |
I chopped my DB windscreen, painting my bike right now and will post pictures in a couple days.
