Default SHOULD I GO MANUAL OR OEM ON CCT?????

I know there are 1,000,000,000 topics on cct's.

I need to replace mine for obvious reasons.

Should I go OEM or aftermarket?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. this is a great site - thanks to all that put in the time and effort to keep it up and running.

if you dont mind ajusting the manual every couple months, go manual.
if the noise doesnt bother you much, go auto.

five0addict, I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think you should have to adjust them every couple of months.

Anyone?? I really don't know, but a shop owner stated that they don't need adjusted??

I went manual on mine, and no.. you don't have to adjust it every couple of months. Mine has been on for two years and I have never touched it since!

some need adjustments, others don't. woody's keeps backing out on him, but blackdog's never does...

just gotta get it to the sweet spot...that's the PITA part...

I've read several threads on CCT's(L)
Cam Chain Tensioner Lifter

But what part is that on the bike? why is this such a big problem, or the most discussed topic?
I just got my bike, and i haven't heard an noise just yet.

Anyone got pictures?
How hard is the replacement or maintenance?
Manual / Auto?
APE?
adjusting it every month?
Clicking Noise?

Thanks
