RE: "short" exhaust for F4i
not sure, since i've never heard the full length. but the guy from HAI told me it IS slightly louder. "it has the same pitch/tone but it is slightly louder since the baffle is much shorter than the 15" and 20" pipes".
it makes my heart melt between 4.5k-5k rpms!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!! :) |
RE: "short" exhaust for F4i

RE: "short" exhaust for F4i
Nice bike.
I've been looking for a GP style unit myself (even shorter). Lots out there for other makes/models, but I've come up empty for the F4i. |
RE: "short" exhaust for F4i
cut em yourself, it isnt that hard if you havea band saw or a wiz wheel then rivit the end cap back on...probally save $100 or so...what did they charge you for that exhaust anyhow

Something like this would be ideal to me.

No Honda option. No Honda Option. No Honda Option. What am I missing? Why aren't these (or similar items) available for Hondas? |
RE: "short" exhaust for F4i
They prolly dont got short pipes like the ones above for our bikes because there aint as popular. Plus, im mean, look at the distance btw the fairings and pipes. I was looking into this too, and found 3 people that have em, but its nothing i would want to put on my bike! Plus im sure the engine design and fucntion is incorperated with having a short pipe ( i.e back pressure)
