I paid 4500 for an 02 with 1450 miles on it. custom paint doesnt always mena its been down. I painted both my last two bikes and they had been down way earlier in their life but plastic were raplced and when I got it i didn't like the stock look so i painted it? but you can't ask more just because of what you have left in paint. If you paint it ur gonna lose what u got in to it.

chain was gone, metzler M1s were on their way out, scuffs on both sides with cracks on right side...with the exception of a few maintanence things, still well taken care of none the less...hope that helps

 

I got my 05 for under 4k, 11k miles, new Pilot Powers, LED undertail, tank pad, never been down. Apparently they're still holding onto some value..

I don't think he meant that he knows it has been crashed, just that the average buyer will think that. Customizing won't bring you more than blue book and might hurt the value, especially that pipe. Get a stock pipe to replace it... I have one for sale if you want it. I would even try to find some stock plastic on ebay if you can.

 

Updated, I have had my bike on Creigs list and here I was starting at $4600 No takers I am now asking $4200 and still geting beat down. This thing has to sell so if you know any one send them my way becouse I need to see her go.

Got a good price and made a very cool guy Very happy. I am looking for a new bike now but I want something that's older "more affordable" or possibly a project bike.

Hey guys I am considering selling my f4i as well... its a 05 never been down but i am repainting it laguna seca blue its the 2003 bmw M3 color. I did the tail swap to make it a split seat and that was just primered so I am repainting the whole thing. I have shogun frame sliders compwerks flush mounts LP racing stubby arrowhead CF rears. Cut mud flap and it looks like it has a fender eliminator since I did that. lowered 1 inch. fresh oil as of today 7/24/08.. two brothers race pipe brand new tires. and a double bubble tinted screen.. 12500 miles. I owe 5500 you think I would be able to get that?
