I have an 06 cbr f4i just hit 17k. its a rebuilt title and definitely not stock. ive been fixing it up a bit but found a good deal on an rr and really want to get it. Would I be better of selling mine whole or parting it out? tires need replaced, fairings are cracked in a couple spots, and possibly forks bent? (been working on that in another thread).

If I did sell it how much do you think I should get? I've put it up on cl a couple times but always took it down because I don't want to be bikeless.

 

I know it's so sketchy. It gives me an excuse not to ride hard though plus being a broke college student I can't dish out $300 for new tires. That's just one of the many things she needs that's why I wanna dump her fora new one lol

But nobody is going to buy a bike with shot tires either, people want bikes in "ready to ride" condition unless they want a project...

Scour the interwebs for deals, craigslist and ebay. I won a brand new front Metzler M1 for $20!.. just had to ride 40 mins to pick it up. I paid about $100 for my rear on motorcyclesuperstore.com and then mounted them both myself. Brand new rubbers for under $120 and no i dont own a bike shop i did all this in my kitchen getting yelled at by my girlfriend.

But a beat front tire like that will kill your *** as soon as you have to grab brake when a oblivious cage pulls out on you.

 

I need some parts if you wanna part it out, too!
