Default seat hieght ?

I've nearly completed my banana seat swap and I'm thinkig of ordering a Corbin front seat. The thing is , Im a short ***, at only 5'9 I can barely flat foot at a stop with the stock seat. I'm quite comfortable with this, but I hope a more comfortable seat wont make me tip toe. I would appreciate any experience.

I'm 5'9 1/2"... I can flat foot really easy both sides when sitting on the seat. I think I just got super long legs... i dunno.

If you're like me, which is comfortable with basically using one leg at a stop... you'll be okay if you can barely touch the ground after puttin on a corbin.

If you haven't seen my recent thread, I want to get a corbin also. If you buy it soon, lemme know which one u get and how u like it.

Thanks man. I did read your thread and that'swhat got me thinking. I know what you mean about one leg down at a stop. I usually keep a foot on the the brake lever and an eye in the mirror! Anyway, I probably wont get one untill later in the summer, I havn't even ridden the bike with the solo seat yet. But the one I would get would have the carbon fiber look side pannel with no coloured piping.
Likewise, if you get one definitely let me know what you think and I will do the same.

don't worry about the flat foot thing...you'll get used to it...all you need a one toe down!

i'm 5'7" and i can flat foot. after i went with my penske rear...it sits higher and i can no longer flat foot...but it doesn't matter...i'm just cruising on the tip of my toes anyway...like a ballerina...you don't really need that much to balance the bike.

FWIW, there are people much shorter than you who can barely get one foot down and do just fine.

Tahoe, don't make me stand on a phone book and give you a roundhouse kick to your kneecap.
