In search of a seat
I know there is the corbin seats but does anyone know of other brands? the corbin seats look pretty nice but they are pricey. They also have the smuggler, which looks pretty handy, but $800 is a joke. Was wondering if anyone has come across a similar cheaper seat/smuggler setup

I have the Corbin Smuggler and I LOVE it. It's really really handy. I just got the Corbin rear saddle for it so I don't have to swap the stock seat to have a passenger. Now if I have a passenger, I just pull off the smuggler (the actual trunk looking thing) and the rear saddle clicks in right in the same spot that the trunk does.

are the corbin seats a lot more comfortable? the smuggler looks cool but 800 dollars? seems a bit insane to me lol |
I use a 5 dollar back pack. Its just a couple strings and a pouch. Works like a charm.
As far as the seat goes. We just recently had a discussion about this. It seemed like the way to go was make your own. If not you can take it to a place that does custom interior work and get it done. It would be cheaper than buying a corbin seat. |
i got my corbin for like 100 bucks, theres no way id buy it new, but if your bikes in excellent shape and you travel on it a lot, yes, it would be worth 800 bucks
