Hey guys, i know this isnt really related to an F4i, but thats what i ride and i wanted to let you all know i just tried on the new Scorpion-Exo 1000.

Its pretty sick, don't be jealous. haha

looks nice but the reason i got a scorp in the first place was the 199.99 price tag for a helmet with the same materials as a shoei or Arai.. now that the new EXO-1000 is retailed at $329.95 I'll keep my Arai on my Lid.

 

I went to my local Honda dealer last week to see if they had the exo-1000 in yet and was told thatScorpion was having problems with the new helmet. He also showed me a pic of the new HJC that has the same dual visor system as the Scorpion. He also was told by the HJC rep that the HJC helmet would hit the shelves before the Scorpion. Anyone have any info on the new HJC?

 

I wonder if I can use my EXO-700 accessories on the 1000. Not time to upgrade, but I'd like to know if/ when I do.

 

Regardless and not to thread jack but the EXO 700 IMO is the best helmet on the market for the price, it's the Lid i crashed in and I didnt even know my head hit the ground untill 3 days later when I picked my helmet up and noticed the impact. and the price and weight of it us unbeatable for that range of helmet.

i probably wont get the exo-1000.. but i damaged my shoei and i need a new one. So i will most likely be picking up the lower level ones. I just like the retracible visor
