Honestly bud ive been running a k&n and a 2b pipe all year without any problems so far.. yea sometimes if I decide to run race gas I can smell it pretty good but there's no problems just a bit of a smell. Im sure the bikes fine.. your bike will run much better with a pc but you really NEED it.

 

running lean won't make the smell of gas get worse. like i said, all sportbikes run rich, usually to compensate for the ridiculous rev range. i wouldn't worry about it, you're not going to blow it up. you really need to, get a PCIII.

lean=too much air entering the motor
rich= dumping too much fuel into the motor.

 

Hey thanks guys I think PC is the next mod to the bike and I'm prob done as far as performance mods til I get a bigger bike. Can we run 100 octane in these bikes safely?
