I bought my F4i a few weeks ago, and have been modding it constantly since i got it. I used to be real big in the car show scene, but then i sold my car and kind of quit going to them. NowI want to get my bike to where i can show it. I don't really want to do any performance mods besides the slip on. I just want visual mods. I need ideas and pictures if you have them of things i can do. Even if they are small and subtle. Its not that I cant make the bike look good on my own, I just haven't been around these things long enough to know whats out there in the aftermarket world. I have an 02 f4i silver and red.
So far I have:
a rear tire hugger
undertail with integrated led tails
aftermarket grips
waved rear brake rotor
license plate relocated to the swing arm.
Two brothers slip on will be here in a few days
Front flushmounts will be here in a few days

I just dropped my bike off at my buddy's shop to get the swing arm polished, the wheels powdercoated in red chrome. and all the pegs powdercoated. I also plan to have the bike repainted candy red with silver ghost flames, and im going to polish the frame when everything is off for the paint.

One more question. Will the waved rear rotor cause me to go through brake pads quicker?

 

You can do halos in the front headlights

 

powers race rails, db windscreen, reflective rim stripe, aftermarket rearsets, pazzo levers, the list can go on..

 

next mod: Learn to ride it

sounds like your bike is spending more time in the paint shop than on the road, spend your money on kick *** gear and get sick with it

 

buy my exhaust (yoshimura carbon fiber FULL exhaust)

 

put some LCDs in your wheels

everyone puts red rimstripes on for thier red bikes, im putting on white for that old school white wall tires look, anyways just be different, theres some mods that are standard but if you can do something truely original then you will have a kickass show bike, i havent been to too many bike shows, but from my car show experiences the best show cars still value more function over form, so keep that in mind too

lol agreed, i dropped 1500 on gear and took her out and went crazy, cant go wrong with full leathers and good helmet and boots.
