no, i let it get to temp where the thermostat opens then i blip the throttle a few times shut it off and repeat. before that i tool some coolant out the resevoir. it was above the full line. it runs real cool now . it hardly ever gets to 220 anymore and its been 90 degrees plus

I find it funny how alot of the bikes hang out around 172 degrees. That is where mine stays when on the highway just cruising. When I pull off the track after a 20 minute session it is almost always in the 230's but that is from the constant 13k rpms.
