It has been issue after issue that I am having to fix, due to the previous owner taking things off, hacking things up, etc. Upon doing my spark plugs, I noticed that I only had one throttle cable instead of 2. So I double checked my handlebars, and sure enough there is only one cable running from it. The cable that is currently on the back is in the top position on the handlebar....however, it runs to the lower slot on the bracket near the throttle bodies. Is this correct? The top cable (on the handlebar) runs to the lower slot on the bracket near the throttle bodies, and the lower cable (on the handlebar) runs to the upper slot on the bracket? I just want to make sure everything is correctly set up when I get the new lower cable.

 

Ooh I want to say that's right but honestly I can't remember, maybe someone else can chime in.
Good thing is you'll know if it's wrong by looking at it open the butterfly valves
