riding two up

quick question... when you all ride with a passanger does your hands hurt and get numb? Mine feel like im doing a hand stand on my palms on a bar and they get numb and its like its cutting off the circulation to them... any ideas or anything tried differentgrips and gloves but nothing. Its an 01 if that helps and its only with a passanger.

are you putting your weight on your arms? and is the passenger leaning on you or sitting up... if they are leaning on you, you are supporting that extra weight on your hands.. causing them to go numb.. thats what i can come up with...

I notice kinda the same thing with a passenger. I recently had my seat modified to stop her from sliding forward, also she puts her hand on the tank during braking. Even with all of that, it is still a small problem. Then again, she has enormous implants that are always pressing against my back.

Hmmmm, make sureyou dont have a death grip on the bars first of all. but i take my g/f out alot, and i get a numb throttle hand solo OR w/ passanger. make sure she's not laying on you, or putting most of her weight on you. when my girl gets tired, she tends to lean on me more and makes my hand go numb quicker. so see if that helps. just a thought, hope it helped!

Have your passenger support themselves (reducing the weight on you) by putting their hands around you and on the gas tank. This works especially well when stopping.

But the geometry of the bike pretty much determines that the passenger will be leaning forward, putting weight on you. The passenger seat sits higher than the driver seat, and they have to lean forward to hold on to you.

2 up riding on a sportbike will never be comfortable.

yes I tried a couple diff pairs of gloves, didnt help, my gsxr 750 I used to have was way more comfortable than my f4i whichis weird to me cause the f4i has a up right more position rather than the gixxer which was leaned foward more.
