Bad luck geezer. Hope the new mirrors don't reflect the fairing damage too much. Getting caught in snow storms is no fun but sometimes you have no choice other than to press on for home. Been there, done that, been lucky!
As for having the right tires, he he.... that's like having a different bike for every day of the year.

 

Yeah, fairings next on the list. If I had studded tires on my crotch rocket, I'd probably question my purpose in life. But seriously, I'd rather just buy a dirtbike or something that doesn't really have traction issues.

 

I'd try it if I had a cage.
