Default Retarded newbie

At 19 degrees i decided that i had to ride my brand new bike. You know like a mile, so i went around the block. 0.9ths of a mile, so when i stopped, i slid on some ice, and over i went on the right side, no damage at all to the fairings, butmy bike wont start. Now all that comes on is the neutral light and the countdown on the speedometer, and i went threw the owners manual to troubleshoot, what do i do? also the starter clicks.

Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the engine switch on?
When you try the starter, do the lights on the dash dim? (battery needs recharge)
Does the engine turn over at all? (flooded engine)

Take the key out and let it sit for 15 min...then try again. Mine wouldn't start for a while after she fell. But For some reason after I took the key out and had some lunch....came back. Turned right over.

But if your starter is clicking...your battery may need to be recharged now. You could just hook some cables to it and try to jump it...or if you have a friend...you could do the old run and pop the clutch.

Yes...but DO NOT start the car or have it running. I have done it before and I didn't seem to have any problems. I wasalways told to have the car off though.Just my 2 cents

why don't you just push start it and let it run for a bit or take it for a ride and charge up your battery?
