Default Resonating sound

I have an 02 f4i and i noticed that there is a resonating noise coming from what sounds like the engine directly below the front third of the gas tank. just wondering if anyone had an idea of what it might be before i spend money to have someone look at it. The only other thing is that it happens around 5-6200 r's. thanks.

From what u've described, It sounds like your ram air resonators Take off your ram air covers and there is one resonator on each ram air induction tube. I pulled mine off and sealed up the holes Some say you may hear MORE sound this way but I never noticed it anyway!

I think youre correct here. I took my air cover off when I first got the bike and didnt put it all back together correctly.

Anyone have an easy way to get the tube in the hole?

I used some rubber corks from wine bottles to plug the holes.
