There's no logic behind the bars I think lol

This time the reserve kicked in at 150 miles, and I went to 175 miles before fueling up. I still had 2 solid bars, and then put in 3.75 gallons of gas.

 

alright guys, i think i will shed some light on this situation. when all of our bars on our reserve meter start blinking that is when we are down to our last .98 gallons. its the same way with the rr models gas gauges... once all of their bars are gone, they still have roughly a gallon left. so when all of your bars are blinking don't worry to bad u should be good for atleast another 30 miles depending on your mods (man hole cover for a rear sprocket) and driving styles.

 

when i first got my f4i, i didn't know what all the blinking bars meant. I drove like 25miles home and looked it up online.
