ok, you need to get a seat cowl because i cant see any rear pegs on that and it would just be dangerous to be riding a chick with no rear pegs on there.

How does it handle with the RR swingarm compared to stock?

I have everthing to do the conversion, but I am still kind of worried about the handling since I have not compared any mesurements yet to make sure the geometry stays the same.

You said you have taken it to the track. Did you notice any difference compared to the stock F4i suspension?

the rear cowl is one of the unfinished parts. but it was intended as a track bike so no passengers. plus i never tow a passenger anyway.

the powdercoat guy never got back to me about matching the repsol orange, so i did them myself. the tire shop said i could bake them in the over for about an hour at 175 degrees to harden up the finish, but at that point i was there to get the tires put on. they did a good job and didn't scuff the paint installing them. i used a good automotive clear so it's fairly durable, but definitely not as good as powdercoating.

yeah i know. i want to get an underseat exhaust in there somehow. we'll see if i can wrangle the rr subframe i just won on ebay on it after it gets here.

i can't tell the difference. the ride height is the same, but it looks higher because of the swingarm. i never rode anything else on the track, but do have a stock 05 f4i also. i know i don't have it set up correctly either, i'll have to see what the "track" settings for the 1000rr rear shock is and start there.

a guy in our club who is also a motorcycle salesman suggested i sell it. now that i think about it, it worries me to ride it on the track. i do have a lot of time and money in it, especially the paint. if you're serious, pm me an offer and we can talk.
