Default Repsol fairings on my F4i

Got my repsol fairings from Hong Kong a few weeks ago, been meaning to post some pics.

I didn't have too high hopes for the quality after all the review I read here and on other sites, but I was impressed. The only thing that these fairings lack are fit. The paint quality is 110%. I did have to oval out a few holes, no big deal.

Here is a before and after pic. The before is near Mt Washington in Hew Hampshire, the after is in Acadia National Park (just went last weekend, awesome trip).

I will post some better pics tonight.

Before Fairing Kit

Before I added tank decals

After tank decals, in Acadia

I painted the tank myself and did the decals as well. Ordered the decals from alloutgraphics.com.

I'm thinking of putting some orange tape around the wheels to match, and working on making my own under tail.

Probably a few hours to do the fairings... didn't rush. Then a few days for the tank to sand, prime, base and clear. Had to fill a small dent too.

Oh, and by the way, the guy i got the fairings from on eBay is selina_moto88. If anyone's thinking of getting fairings thats where I got mine and they were good quality. If you don't see the paint scheme you want just ask him and he'll do whatever paint you ask for. My buddy just ordered a red bull kit for his r6, we'll see how that comes out.

These fairings look great!!! I think our cbrs made in the same year.
I've got into an accident on the 4th (was happy 4th, yea) and pretty badly scratched fairings + cracked upper cowl. Now I'm looking forward to completely remodel my baby.
This variation seems great to me, but I'm curious about the tank. Did you have someone to repaint it for you or you bought a new one?

I apologies, didn't pay enough attention to your first post.
Alright, you repainted the tank. Can you share the experience? What paint did you use and coating? Thx!

P.S. You definitely want to put orange tape on the rims!!! DO IT!

It looks GOOD!

I should've done an ebay kit, rather than reapairing/painting my fairings
