replacing rear shock

Default replacing rear shock

my shock is shot and have a whole new one, how hard is it to install, it looks pretty simple.. do i need any specific tools?

Its very simple and straight forward. Now taking off the swing arm. That was a pain in the *** the first time.

Just make sure you have a way of supporting the bike up with no shock.... meaning no held up by the rear swing arm. Instead think more toward the rear sub frame.

What i ended up doing when i replaced my swing arm was i made two supports. Ubolted my Rear passenger pegs and the exhaust. fliped them upside down, and set the bike on those.
