Default Replace Tires

I need some advice on some good tires for my bike. I recently bought a 2005 CBR 600 F4I. Tires are a little warn so I wanted to start out with some fresh ones. I won't be doing any racing of any kind but just week getaway fun. A shop has recommended Pirelli's Angels and suggested that I buy from the Motorcycle Superstore and have them dropped shipped to their shop. Need your opinions.

Sportbiketrackgear.com is cheaper I think. Their service is great. MS has had some issues with customer service lately. I'm running Michelin pilot powers from them. No complaints!

Do you run pilot power 2ct's or do you use road 2's? There are no power 2's made......

I run Pilot Power 2 CT on my bike bought both tires off amazon for around $250 and took them to a shop to get mounted and balanced. Well worth it and I got them in less then two days with amazon prime! I've put almost 3k miles on them and it looks brand new still, I do all street riding and maybe a canyon 1 or 2 times a month. Great tires all around

Roadsmart 2. The original roadsmarts gave me 7500 miles. Could have went more but the wear marks were getting close and it was the beginning of the season so I changed them early. Could have easily gotten 8500 miles I bet.

I went with Micheline pilot Road 2s. I mainly do street commuting. heard they last very long and are good in all weather. plus I think they would suffice for a few track days and twistys if you wanted.

I went through a decent amount of researching as I do "spirited" street riding with my group and we often hit the highway for 15-30 minute stretches to go to different bike nights.

I decided to go with the Pilot Power 2CT because of that dual compound (even though it is more than what I need). I wouldn't skimp on tires, it's what your riding on EVERY TIME you take the bike out.

The dealer I went to knows that many people like Pilot Power 2CT but he does track days all the time and says he feels the Dunlop Q2 (dual compound) is more responsive and then the standard Pirelli Dual Compounds are the best. It's all about preference I guess too because the tire profiles are all different.
