removing stickers on silver black f4i...PICS?
I am considering pulling the silver stickers off the side of my bike tomorrow. I don't hate the look, but I dropped the bike a couple times, once was at about 30 MPH, and the stickers are scuffed in some spots. Anybody got pics of how it will look?
Are they going to leave lines that are going to be tough to get off? Or can I just peel them and then get the remaining adhesive off with goof off or goo gone or something?

here is one in red i have found. its not mine, i dont have a bike yet, i will in one month or so...anyway...ive heard this is pretty simple to do. i work with decals and lettering on my dads machinery at his work. the best way to get the stickers off the bike is set it in the sun for a few hours to loosten the vinyl, and then take a blowdryer and be patient. i took the warning stickers off my buddy's sv, and they were a pain...but they will come off eventually...to remove the sticky residue, use GOO GONE ONLY, do not use goof off. it is too harsh of a chemical and will dull the paint and clearcoat. use goo gone sparingly and you will be fine...if scratches from goo gone are visible, a good wax will buff those suckers right out. hope this helps. put pics up if you do decide to take off the decals.

I think it looks WAY cleaner with the stickers off. Just pull it in the garage and get a blow dryer. Then just peel it back slowly as you heat the piece up just hold the dryer kinda close. It will leave residue i used goo gone and it took off the sticky stuff with no plastic/paint damage Here are a couple pics of my bike with the side, tail, and upper stickers off

Personally, I think it looks like dog **** when the stickers are pulled off. They have the really sharp and large Honda wing on there then when you pull off the decals you have the remaining wing tips on the side of the tank that are just there with nothing else matching since they're clear coated over. Also, since the front fairing is of a different color, it looks like it's a frankenbike that's pieced together. [:'(]

I agree, it makes the bike look like it was wrecked and thrown back together without taking time to replace the graphics.

The factory decals make it look better
Without them....you just have 2 lines on the tank that look outta place
And it DOES make it look like the bike was down and the wrong fairing was put on too...lol
