Default reflective wing shadows (PICS ARE UP!)

well after ordering my wing shadows (gloss black) and recieving the wrong kit ('07 1k RR), i convinced them to send me the reflective ones w/o charging me the extra $40. so i recieved them today and they look pretty cool! im putting them on before i even leave work and i'll have pics up around 4 ofwhat they look likeduring the daytime. after the sun goes down i'll shine some light on them and get a reflective pic! im anxious as hell, i think they are really going to look good, and i cant wait to see them at night when light hits them. my post is kinda early, lol. but i'll have them on today and have pics up for sure!

cant wait!

ok, i suck at putting vinyls on haha. i had air bubbles and its also a good idea to do these BEFORE frame sliders.

well anywho, im happy w/ my reflective wing shadows! this is a really crappy pic (cellphone camera). i'll get some w/ my digital camera tonight along w/ how reflective they are. i think they look really cool. they are a glossy black during the day and when the sun catches it just right you can see how its sorta reflective, a gray/white reflective color.

night pics coming soon....

^ thanks man. but those few imperfections bug me, lol. kinda like when you have a minor scratch in the paint on you're car that NO ONE notices but since its yours YOU notice it constantly........its like that. the few air bubbles (i got the air out but you can kinda tell where they were, or atleast I can, lol) are obvious to me but no one else is noticing them right off the bat, so its ok i guess.

i really like them alot though. it makes the wings so much more visible and gives itmore character. next will be some reflective rim tape, i just dont know if i want reflective red or reflective white.

Did you wash the hell out of the surface and then keep the surface moist to allow you to move it around? Then tack it from there?

Vinyl and tint are somewhat the same premise. I just vinyl'd my front this weekend and it was easy to do with some soapy water underneath. Allows you to move it around and work from there. I also did mine in the sun so I could let the bubbles dry there.

With the water method the bubbles are most likely water and not air so as the water melts you can lay the bubble down.

It's nice have a roommate that owns a tint shop
