Rearset risers
anyone used them? I see they got'm on ebay for about $50 and move about 1 inch up and back, seems like a great solution paired with some different pegs. They also flip to move 1 inch down. Figure this would be a GREAT setup to switch between Sport Touring and Trackdays which is my overall goal.
Also this shouldn't have any effect on reversing the shifter (gp shift, whatever it's called), would it? |
No It won't. You just have to pull the linkage off the shaft when you chande it and put it back on where you like it.
I have a set of these you can have for 30 bucks shipped if you'd like. Let me know and I'll snap some pictures! |

Here's the riser brackets.
Attachment 50186 They had a little rust on them so I primered and painted them with flat black. They're still a touch wet in the picture. Can snap more tomorrow is you're interested though. Attachment 50187 And here's the hardware |
I have the ebay ones. They work great but watch for them rubbing the swingarm. I can't imagine paying $200+ for rearsets when these are availible for $50.

Pics installed?

I don't have any. They were on my bike when I got it and I didn't like the position so I went back to stock. They worked great though. I didn't realize they were on there until I realized the riding position was sportier than other f4i's I'd ridden

Jp's plates don't look like they move the rearset back very much, maybe up 1" and back 1/2"? Heres my ebay 1"up and 1" back:
